VM Pro SMTP Sender settings disappear

I have a weird issue on an 8.1 VM Pro server(Windows). I go to configure the SMTP sender, click OK, and the entry disappears. If I do not check the "Server requires auth" box then the settings stay through a save. As soon as I check the box and hit OK, the entry disappears even if I do not save and make live before going back into the settings. I was going to try and run a repair on the software after hours and see if that does the trick. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions to fix it without repairing the software?

What is the exact version or 8.1?
Does the version of VM Pro client exactly match the system version?

Seen something kinda similar if your manager is older than the IPO. If your VMPro client is older than the VMPro, upgrade it.

The thing is that they sometimes up the security in the software and if your client is older and sends an older deprecated encrypted hash of the password, the application doesn't take it.

That's how I nuked all my supervisor codes/sip set login passwords. Sounds like you might be the same if you keep the data when you don't tick the authentication box.

Yes IP Office and VM Pro versions match. The IPO/Manager is on 8.1.95 and VM Pro is 8.1.9803. I would have upgraded them but they are very attached to Phone Manager and do not like One-X.. I'll try the repair tonight to see if that does anything and report back. Thanks!

I didn't mean the IPO and voicemail versions matching, I meant your voicemail pro client and the version of voicemail pro matching!
