VM Pro not sending emails

I recently set up a VM Pro server for a customer running 9.0 and configured VM to Email. It worked for several weeks and it now has decided to stop sending the VM. I've searched the debug logs for the error but it doesn't even seem like the system is attempting to send anything. Has anyone experienced this issue?
 
Stop and restart the service and see if that works

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
 
Tried that and nothing changed.
 
Did You restart the server running VM pro, and then the IP office?
 
I just restarted the server and the IPO but that didn't solve it either. What could have changed hat made it to stop working???
 
Indeed something must have changed, it will not stop on its own. Verify SMTP, subet. Any changes on firewall ports?
 
ours stopped out of the blue with our hosted exchange service. I ended up changing the voicemail server to use a generic gmail account and everything went out after that. I never had time to get to the bottom of it.
