VM Pro have 2 work mode,IP Office Mode and Intuity Mode.
Under IP Office Mode, when you dial *17, you will be prompted "You have no new message (if no new message)". But under Intuity Mode, the system will prompt "Welcome to IP Office ..."
If you want to shift the mode to Intuity, just open the Voicemail Pro Application, click the 4th menu in menu bar(MANAGEMENT) select OPTIONS and select GENERAL
Select Intuity under Default telephone Interface within Voice mail

Ensure VM lite is not running, or was not installed before or after VM Pro. The service ( if running as a service ) is validated with a valid user account. Licence is valid so your 2 hours of grace hasnt expired.

Thanks for the input. It turns out, under the voicemail tab in system, there was a password set in the password field.
Im not sure how it got there but when i removed it it works fine.
