I have one user whose MWI lights and turns off when she logs into vm and presses 2 to retrieve messages. There are no messages in her inbox. I tested by leaving a message both direct extension dialing and via AA. MWL worked fine. Could this be a symptom of too short a message to be recorded, but long enough to light the light?

Sound like the light on the phone is bad.

Try a different phone or let the user login on a different phone.

If the issue follows the user or also happens on a different phone then it is a software issue.
If not then the phone (the MWI) is bad.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

Thanks, TL. I'll try a different phone. Odd that it worked fine on live tests, though.

You could also try to delete the user in vmpro.
Go to the folder, on the vmpro server, C:/Program Files/Avaya/IP Office/Voicemail Pro/VM/Accounts.

Find the user and delete the complete user.
