I have a small network of 6 properties using IP office 406v2 running 3.0.59.

We have several issues at all the properties, here is one.

Some voice mail messages on VM PRo are delayed for hours. A caller can leave a message and the recipients mailbox will say no messages for as much as 4 hours.

This does not happen all the time, and not with all users. It seems to be intermittant.

Any ideas or suggestions anyone?

Sounds like a licensing Issue. Make sure your license for VM Pro shows up as Valid. Also make sure the Key Server is running on the machine with the dongle attached.

Isaac has a great point worth checking into,

but you might double check for the possiblity of it be delayed or forgotten notification/MW Lamp rather then a delayed message, I have seen it and researched this problem since the birth of voicemail and every time I have found it to be issues with the notification/MW Lamp

Now if it is the notification, you are probably looking at better reliability on the site with the physical VMPro system then on your remote locations

Those are a couple of good thoughts, but this is not related to the MW lamp. Some people have actually accessed thier mailbox, and are told there are no new messages.

We have already figured out that the MW lamps are not reilable so most users are checking thier mailbox on a regular basis.

I will check those issues and post more info about them here.

Centralised Voicemail?

If so what sort of WAN links are you running?

What about the time setting on the VM pc (and timezone too). Is it consistent with all the other sites

Take Care

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

All six sites are in the same time zone, and the time is set correctly at all 6.

Two of the sites are using VM Pro, the other 4 are using the "dreaded" embedded voice mail (in a cost cutting move).

We have had some problem with a few messages not showing up at the smaller sites, but none have done that since Avaya reset the network topology to star. They originally set it up as a mesh, but our Avaya programmer was later told by T4 suppport that the mesh configuration was not supported.

We are running full t-1 lines between sites, with DSL for backup.
