We are upgrading from voicemail pro/preferred to server edition. Does the voicemail pro/preferred license provide any additional voicemail pro ports when used on a server edition virtual?

We currently have four voicemail pro licenses, and we are combining all of those systems into a single server edition virtual system, and we will NOT be using the 500 V2. Do those voicemail pro/preferred licenses give us any channels. Just to be clear I am referring to preferred licenses and not additional voicemail. Channel licenses.

If I understand correctly, you are switching from 4 independent installations each with a VMPro to one centralized Server Edition.

If I'm still right, you only get 2 VMPro channels per Server Edition, when Preferred gives you 4.
If you have 2 licensed Server Edition, you'll have 2 * 2 = 4 channels.

You will sure need some additional VM Channels to ensure coverage, if you use VMPro Modules / announcements .
