Has any one been able to get the Web Access working. I am running VMProserver on an XP box with IIS running. I navigate to the but get a page showing The page cannot be displayed. Any ideas?

This is an ongoing issue. In 3.2, there's a document that says step-by-step how to modify IIS to allow it to work.

I've spent hours trying to get this to work - is it on a XP SP2? After hours I worked out it was a DCOM problem.

Look in your event log, and note down the error msg. Chuck it into Google (and G Groups) and there is some expanations as to what to do there. I can't exactly remember what I did, but I remember giving permissions to almost every user to that DCOM product!!

I'll see if I can remember how to do it tomorrow.

I think you are only at the beginning (does anything come up?) - if not, go to IIS, and give script access execution rights, etc etc and it will work. The prob I had was with what should be in the left hand pane after selecting the language - I had a CGI timeout (DCOM prob!) - good luck

Here it is, hope this helps:
=================
The following configuration changes are required for IIS version 6 running on a Windows 2003 server:

1. Go to Start Menu | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer Management.
2. Go to Services and Applications | IIS Manager | Web Sites | Default Web Site.
3. Under Web Sites, right-click Default Web Site and select Properties.
4. Select the Home Directory tab.
5. Under Application Settings section, set the Execute Permissions to Scripts and Executables.
6. Press OK twice.
7. Go to Web Service Extensions section under Web Sites.
8. Right-click and select Add a new web service extension....
9. In new web service extension, set the following values:
• Extension Name: campaigns.
• Required files: Click Add. Select the file type as CGI exe files and browse to the campaign.exe file location specified during installation. This is usually c:\InetPub\ or c:\InetPub\scripts\campaign.exe.
• Set extension status to Allowed : Enable this option
10. Press OK.

Hope this helps.
