VM Pro 9.0 Intuity forward message to other MB

If using Visual voice, when I copy to another mailbox, it won't work unless I press record first and then send. Is this by design? I believe in IPO mode it doesn't force you.

It also forces you to record through *17.

I believe that is how Intuity Mode works. It forces you to record a header such as "this message is really for you" or "take a listen to this".

well, guessed I never noticed before. When embedded was IPO mode only, it used to work, and now I start my embedded in intuity mode too. probably didn't test or used since. That would explain why I thought that.

you do not need to record anything actually you can just hit # when it starts recording and it will work.
Annoying but at least you don't need to record a full memo to forward.

Yes, the customer figured that already but like you said, found it annoying.

I convinced him to get his messages in his email so he can just forward it to the right person; sometimes I don't understand human beings; I gave you the simple solution from the start, and you have to bang your head against the wall for hours on end before finally admitting what I said made sense.

I cannot remember if this is the way it worked before 9.0 but I had a customer complain about it too with visual voice. Whenever I train users, I always record something in there just to show them how it works. So I had never experienced it. But 9.0 was my first complaint. Very annoying indeed!
