VM Pro 5.0.23 Auto Attendant Issue

Hi ALL
I ahve created the Auto Attendant Claa Flow , whne i dial internally using the short code i get Promt & i can dial the extn

when call from outside it hits the VM i can see in Call status as RAS but i am not getting the promt

what is worng here any body has this issue

sounds like an incoming call route issue? what does you call route look like

It shows as RAS ???

Is the incoming call route set to any data or anything with data ?

VMPro calls always show as RAS calls in Call Status.
I suggest not to depend on messages from CallStatus as it is not supported anymore.
Use SSA or beter monitor to tace calls. For VM Pro you should use DbgView for debugging, with this you can analyze the problem best as it shows what happens within VMPro.

this is what i found when trace in VM Pro , it shows locale laungauge is not installed trying to use EN , i just enabled one greeting in wav files of VM pro it gives the prompt to outside caller

i am using UK locale , but VM pro installed US English

how to get uk locale laungauges in VM pro
 
Go to "add or remove programs" and change the installation.
Then you get the option to the language you want.

Would be easier to load up the IP-Office manager, go to the system tab and change the locale there. My guess the locale here is set to English US.
 
Still VM pro does not recognise the Locale ,

IPO is set - UK Locale

when i change the Locale to US , auto attendant works fine
but we cnat use the US , we need UK locale

when i set IP office to UK , Auato attendant does not pick up AA,

in Debug view it shows locale eng is does not exsisit

this is bug in VM pro or any workaround for this

Do what tlpeter says. You are apparently missing all of the EN wav files.

It's people like you who generalize.
 
Have had a similir issue when I de-select the US English option during installation and only select UK English, you need both for succesfull operation :)

I always disable the US.
And if i could disable the UK one then i would have done that too :)

I used to remove it all the time, but it caused an issue just as the OP's so I leave it in now, perhaps it was unrelated and the act of adding it in was enough to resolve the issue :)

I believe UK English (EN) always gets installed, and if any language is not present the english language prompts are played out by default.

I'm curious about this statement. Changing the locale should not stop the Auto Attendant from answering the call. Do you mean that the call is answered, but no prompt is played?

Also, if the Auto attendant has been created, or imported, unless specifically setup to use the installed prompts will likely be setup to use customer recorded prompts. Sounds like the prompts are setup with a $loc in the prompt filename, and the prompt exists in a 'enu' directory, but not in the 'en' one. (Ignore the fact it is looking for eng, this will always default to 'en').

Have a look in the 'Menu' action and check out how the prompts are defined under the 'entry prompt' tab.

this is how i set it up

in VM Pro Shortcodes , i set up the start point with menu action & trasfer tab

we recorded the promt using telephone , i try to change the folder from enu to en to custom all the time it behaves the same.

If i change the locale to US immidiatley i get a promt

if i change back locale to UK it stops playing the promt
