Anyone have any problems with users' passwords blanking out? A user will setup their mailbox and later can't get in with the password they setup. If you pull Manager up you don't see any **** in the voicemail code areas. If you try to login to vmail again and just press # when asked for a password, it will walk you through password setup again.

The only time I had that happen is when I have Manager open and talking to the IP Office. If any one changes thier access code while you are programing, when you do a save their old password or no password is thier instead of the new password. Other than that, hav'nt had that problem you described.

I agree, but that isn't what is happening. I had a user (as I watched them) login to their mailbox with a password. No problem. If I then go and pull the config, their voicemail code lines are blank under the VM tab.

As I recall, this happend to me in 3.2 and it was a firewall issuue. have you run the firewall batch file?

I had this happen alot 3.1/3.2. Even if i set a password in the manger it would clear out. 3.2.54 was the fix. Maybe it has reappeared in 4.0. i have been told to use 4.0.15 even with a 4.0.7 system.

Firewall batch file? We're having this issue as well. Can someone elaborate on this batch file?

Thanks!

Avayafw.bat its a batch file that opens ports on windows firewall. You can get it on the marketingtools site.
