Has anyone seen vm pro 3.2 service stop for no reason? Seems to work fine for a couple of days then stops. I go and resart the service and it runs fine for a while.
is the VMPro service "stopped" or is voicemail just not answering??
might check your system and application event logs and see what event might be killing your service.
I haven't seen it. Defintely look at the event logs like jml2665 suggested.
On the service properties there is a recovery tab. You can specify what actions to take in the event that service fails. Your options are: restart the service, run a program, and restart the computer. I usually set these options to restart the service, then restart the computer in the event of another failure for all my installations.
Setting the recovery to restart the service might lessen the headaches while you try and sort it out.
I had a similar problem and found the resolution to be:
uninstall vmpro 3.2 and then restart the server
reinstall the software in a different location and then copy all the accounts and greetings wav's across to the new directory. This worked on two sites where we had a similar issue - sometimes they ran for a few days, sometimes a few hours! not sure why but this solved it for me.
