Scenario: 4 system SCN. All 4 sites full AA with both English & Spanish AA's. Selector code option for both languages to go to appointments group which is queuing. The problem is that they don't want an English appts group and a Spanish appts group. They want both languages to go to one appt group at each site because most of them are bilingual. Has anyone found a way to have a call enter the Queue Start Point in VM and then have some sort of variable to route English to one queue & Spanish to another?

Yes, there is a error in your call flow.
Can you export the VMPro modules as a .mod file and post it somewere? Then we can take a look (and laugh?[wink])

I am in bed real soon.... It is 00:30 hrs our local time and the buzzer sounds at 05:00, poor me....

I will be in bed as soon as you get up intrigrant (or a bit later actually) to make sure the world is save one of us has to be up ;-)

I still think that 2 groups would make it easier but would love to take a crack at the call flows myself

I built 3 quick and simple modules just for this test. Here are the .mods in text.

Queue entry prompts are WAVS\$LOC\1stq.wav & WAVS\$LOC\2ndq.wav

Where am I going wrong? I'm probably missing something really stupid. I'm starting to feel a little Dain Bramaged myself.

Your wavs must be in (C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\VMPro\WAVS\)es and (C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\VMPro\WAVS\)enu
for ease of deploymens the create a new folder in the WAVS folder named "Customer" and in there create a es and enu folder, so the path for the wavs becomes
(C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\VMPro\WAVS\)Customer\es and (C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\VMPro\WAVS\)Customer\enu

You have two test variables at the start point of this mod. Where is it supposed to be getting the info for the test variable for es calls that you have at the beginning of the flow?

I saw a post from Bas1234 that talked about using 2 ICR's which are the same except that each one has a different locale. I've tried this and I can't get it to work. No matter how I've tried this I can't get it to play the spanish queue message. I'm really not that stupid. Does anyone have the $LOC for dummies manual? This is driving me nuts and I'm sure it's really not that difficult.

OK import the codes below:

The first one goes in the Manager paste it in notepad and save it as ShortCode.csv
The second code is for VMPro paste it in notepad and save it as LanguageMenu.mod
For the *991/*992/*993 you need to set the Locale on the shortcode after the import.
And change the 100 into the HG you like. (check that *99... does not exists.
Save it all, then dial *990 choose your language in queue you need to set the $LOC\wavefile
Like i said before in the map C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\WAVS\ there are different language maps like: en for english nl for dutch and fr for frensh. so VMPro will now get the locale from the Shortcodes *991/2/3 and replace it for the $LOC
Code:
*990,"Menu",Voicemail Collect,0,16
*993,100,Dial Extn,0,69
*992,100,Dial Extn,0,69
*991,100,Dial Extn,0,69

Code:

In Incoming Call route you can have two ICRs with the same DDI, but in one you put the first digits of the CLI in it and set the locale to US
So for US calls you enter 001 as a CLI and the locale to ENU
You can test that by entering your cell phone number in there and dial the DDI number, you should hear english prompts.
The one without a CLI you give it the locale es.
I think you really need help from a professional engineer on site, this leads to nothing.

Bas1234 - Thanks, the short code from Manager worked. It did exactly what I needed. I was making this a lot more complicated then it needed to be.

Thank you all for your assistance.
