Hi,
After an upgrade 6.0 SP1 to 6.0SP2 everything was fine only the Voice Mail it was not. On the system i can see the ports configured but when i call the numbers ports they are out of service. When i try to open the Vm Option label i receive a message "Generic form is not..." and when i try to open the grettings or the mailboxes i receive the message "database is not ready".

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem.

Thanks

You could try restarting the VM by connecting via Secure Telnet.
iPVM_Stop
iPVM_Start

Have not heard of this before but would start with either a complete shutdown and power up or at least follow sarond and restart the voicemail service. Any glitches during the upgrade i.e in the log file?

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Do you still have vmail licenses against the ARID , NO license = no voicemail

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Thank you guys, the problem was in EMEM prompts blade.

Does anyone have made un upgrade VMCD 6.0 SP1 to VMCD 6.0SP2 using the servicelink and not a full deployment ova?

someone may correct me here but pretty sure (off the top of my head) you cant do a service link upgrade as there is no upgrade path for the underlying MSL version so you have to do ova.

One of my customers did the service link upgrade from rel 5.0 to rel 6.0 so I'm pretty sure a patch load is no issue.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

From the vMCD 6.0 SP2 release notes:

Fro MCD 6.0 to MCD 6.0 SP2
- Require Full OVA deployment for upgrade.
Note: Due to MSL 10 being required for MCD 6.0 SP2, upgrades of the MSL and ISS blades are not supported in this release.
