We recently installed IP403 v2.1.
Our VM system is setup to call/nofify the user on the their cell phone when their is a VM message.
The problem is that the telephone number displayed on the users cell phone "Call ID Display" is the extact same as the regular office line, so that the user can't tell if it is VM calling or someone from the office calling to speak with them.
I am told by our provider that there is no way to correct this. The VM system simply grabs a line from the "hunt group".
Can anyone provide some advice ??
One solution we thought of was to "reverse" the process. So if someone is calling from the office, they always use a specific line, and hence would display a seperate number.
Any thoughts on this ?
Ps. We are based in Canada.
