VM locks up

MM on a magix 'locks up' a few times a week. the only resolution is a hard restart. SPM restarts do not work - ports still won't answer. On a controller self test when locked up- dual rom failure; loopback fails as well. I see nothing wrong in programming - worked fine until system was maxxed out on users. Would a programming error cause this or is it a HW issue?

System shouldn't lock up on any occasion. 1) Try removing a couple of users 2) Ensure no one is messing with the programming card
Which controller test are you running that shows dual rom failure?

I'm using the maint. port check through SPM. Are there codes being blinked through the port status lights? Cust is buying a new card - can't afford down time.
