VM Disabled - Internal VM Transfer

Running 3.2.55

If I have VM disabled on the extension, I am still able to get to the voicemail box if the reception has done a direct to VM......in this particular case, it has been misdirected to phones with VM disabled. Is there inherent in the programming or is there a way to ovveride this bypass and have VM totally disabled .

Since we use voicemail to email, we generally "forward" all such messages to a common "general delivery" email box. You could also make a custom "leave" action within voicemail pro for all users that should not receive voicemail.

In VM Pro in your user list create a leave action which points to a generic message then disconnect. In your generic tab put a wav file saying the extension cannot except voicemail messages or some thing similar.

Havent tried the above but should work.
