VM delay

IP 412 V:4.2.4(49501)
With three IP 406's (same version)
and another IP 412 (same version)
Centralized VM

The problems seems to be after we upgraded all the systems to 4.2 they are having issues with voicemail including the main system that all the other systems pull lines from.

The company has users that change their greetings every day, so while they were used to getting into voicemail and just pressing 3,1,1 to get to greetings they can't do that any more or it will just kick them out of VM. Also when you press the messages button there will sometimes be a 5 seconds or so before you hear the prompt.

My only thoughts were maybe the VM server is getting drug down and can't handle it anymore or something along those lines.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

what version did you upgrade the voicemail to?

what version did you upgrade from?

Upgraded the voicemail to 4.2(19)

Upgraded from 3.2 not sure of exact version maybe 3.2(64) or something like that.
 
how did you perform the upgrade? did you install over the top? or did you backup/remove/restart/reinstall?

The voicemail we backed up and then installed over the top.

The manager we backed up, removed, reinstalled.
 
well according to the docs, anything above 3.2 should be ok to upgrade without removing.

is your voicemail running in ip office mode or intuity mode?

also what operating system is it running on?

It's running intuity mode and its running on Windows XP
