All of a sudden the VM/Auto Attendant quit working. I rebooted the server and it worked again. After an hour or two, it stops again. I restarted the VM service and that also caused it to start working again, but it still seems to quit working every few hours.

Anyone else having this problem or have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Garry

Probably the license is invalid
VMPro runs for two hours without a license

No license dongle
What system do you have with what kind of dongle ?

IP Office 406v2 with a USB dongle. Everything working fine for the past 3 years and just quit today. I just confirmed in manager that license shows invalid now.

If you reboot the 406 that should get the license valid,

Windows updates can affect the license server or people turning on the firewall, License server needs to be a static IP address ect.

Did you do an upgrade of the IP Office admin suite by any chance.

There is an issue around the USB key being plugged in when the Feature Key server is upgraded. Word I have from another source are:

==========================================================
Looks like the issue is being caused by the fact that the USB Dongle is already connected to the PC and has picked up its drivers before we go to install the Feature Key Server software.

Problem is resolved if the USB Dongle is not plugged in when installing the Feature Key Server software.
Once the Feature Key Server software is installed, plug in USB Dongle and manually start the service.

If you have already tried to install Service with USB installed you need remove USB Dongle and uninstall Feature Key Server. You may also have to uninstall USB Hardware on USB port - i.e. start from a clean install that has never had the USB Dongle connected.

It was a windows update that caused the problem. Thanks for everyone's help!
