Can anyone tell me how to get my internal Vlans to pass through from my main location to a remote site using a Versipak outburst box? I have a Cisco 2811 router that has multiple Vlans configured and is handling DHCP. A cable runs from the 2811 to a Cisco 3560 switch and VTP is enabled allowing the Vlans to pass through to the switches. On the 3560 I have a port configured as a trunk port using dot1q encapsulation and the TimeWarner Versipak outburst box connected to that trunk port. When I go out to one of our remote locations that has a Versipak outburst box and try connecting a cisco 2950 switch with the vlans and trunk port configured I cannot get the vlans from the corporate office to communicate with the remote sites' vlans. I cannot ping the remote switch from the corporate office even though it worked plugged into the trunk port at the corporate office. Please help!!

perhaps you need to configure QinQ and also configure tunneling to get VTP to work across the link. your best bet is to contact TW and have them explain how you need to configure your switches.

What is QinQ and how do I configure it? Also, can you configure VTP tunneling without a router on both sides?

Here's a config guide. it's for a 3550, but your 3560 and 2950 will be the same config. I would highly recommend that you contact TW first to make sure this is what they want you to do:
