Hi!
I'm trying to setup a vlan for voip on HP Procurve models 1800 and 2810.
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: There's a telephone connected to port 15 on the 1800. Port 1 on the 1800 is then connected to port 2 on the 2810. Port 17 on the 2810 is connected to a router with DHCP, which should provide the phone with an IP address.
I have setup vlan id 10 on the 2810. Ports 17 and 18 are untagged on vlan id 10 and the telephone on port 18 gets the right ip address from the router, so I know that is working.
What I'm having problems with is setting up vlan id 10 on the 1800. I've tried all kinds of settings, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. So how do I get the vlan to work over two switches?
Thanks!
