Weird issue: R4.1.15. Recently changed a user's name from "jen" to "claudia" for a new employee. When accessing visual voice, the display still shows "jen". Checked and made sure jen no longer exists under VM folder and there is no folder for jen. There is a folder for claudia. tried removing voicemail and adding it back and still it says jen. Didn't see it as a listed issue that 4.2 resolved. am I missing something here?

delete that users Source Number, merge, add V123(Vextension number)to Source Number, merge

if that doesnt work

delete the user in manager, merge
delete the voicemail folder
recreate the user in manager, merge
restart voicemail services

No dice on the source number change. I am going to just delete and recreate tonight once the customer is gone for the day. Hopefully that does it.

FYI, I stopped and restarted vm pro servie and it still didn't fix it. I'm going to delete the current user and recreate her and see if that works.

have you tried deleting the Visual voice button?

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

I did try deleting the visual voice button, saving, then adding it back and that didn't do anything.

I've seen this and only a reboot of the IPO fixed it.

Can't remember what version. It was a few months ago.
