Visual Voice Button Not Working on 9608 in R9.0GA

Running tests on demo system after upgrading to R9.0GA on a IP500v2. System and phones are upgraded and running fine.

My Visual Voice button (Emulation/Visual Voice-Action Data is blank) on a 9608 shows as Invalid on the display. It beeps like a blank button when pressed. In short, it doesn't work.

Otherwise, Visual Voice is working. If you use the Features/Visual Voice on the 9608, it works. If message button to Visual Voice is checked in System/Voicemail, then Message button works. Visual Voice on 1616 and 1408 works fine (at least as fine as can be on a 2 line display).

Other extension info: There is a V entry in Source Code. Mailbox has been initialized via *17. The kernel and application files match the table in Tech Tip 158.

Is this a bug that others can replicate or is there an error in my config?

Not a bug. Visual Voicemail doesn't work as a feature button on 9504/9508/9608. You need to check the box to use the mailbox icon or go through the display.

The visual voice (programmable button) is for phones without a hard button for visual voice.
I have seen this documented somewhere so it is definitely not supported.

There are other buttons that do the same on 16xx and 96xx it's not just visual voice if I remember correctly
