I have a customer with a mitel 3300 and nupoint. They are currently using 6930 ip phones and want to utilize the visual vm feature. I have set up in the 3300 with nupoints ip address and the vm hunt group. When they receive a message and you they try to use visual vm, it just dials into the message center and not their mailbox. I got it to work by just putting in a vm port number in place of the hunt group number. Am I missing something. Having 1 vm port is going to cause problems.

#2 applies to embedded

It sounds to me like you're actually talking about message callbacks and not Visual VM.

Have you properly setup the HCI callback group?

The customer has Nupoint. There is a external visual voicemail form on the mitel 3300 that is filled out. They use the new 6930 ip phones which allows you to set the voicemail button to call into the message center or access visual voicemail. On the Mitel 3300 external visual voicemail form all it asks for is the ip address of nupoint and the voicemail hunt group. When the hunt group is put into the form, it doesn't work. When I put in a voicemail port from the hunt group into the form, it works.

Do you have the same COS for the VM Hunt Group as you do the VM Ports?

Do you know if it works on 53xx phones?
