Visual Studios 6.0 PRO and WinXP PRO

I have Visual Studios 6.0 Professional and was running it without any problems on WinXP Home Edition. I recently upgraded to WinXP Pro. Now I cannot install my Visual Studios. I keep getting errors about how the installer cannot find certain files that I know exist. I have Visual Studios.NET and it will install without a hitch, but I prefer to use the older 6.0 version for Java (J++) programming. When I had the Home Edition of WinXP I even had both versions of Visual Studios installed and running without any problems or conflicts.

Any help with this matter would be extremely appreciated!

I have the same situation and I have no problem at all.

Well, I was having alot of other problems with XP so I re-installed it and all the service packs and updates and by golly, I was able to install Visual Studios 6.0 and it is running just fine. I also have VS.NET installed and running as well. No Conflicts!
