hey,

do you guys think its worth getting the visual studio?

I have cute html and i'm thinking that it will work just as well. I used the trial version and I didnt think it was worth the 1400 dollars :)
tell me what you think

Wait and see what happens with the Merger. There is bound to be a new studio environment, or better integration to UltraDev. I'd wait and spend my money then, if you are getting along fine now. (Although I think using studio greatly reduces my production time over straight coding)

Aren't you talking about Microsoft's Visual Studio ChiefJoseph? All I can say is that if I were you I would only purchase it if you want to do some VB, C++ and FoxPro as well. If you use it only for HTML and CF or ASP, I would definitely NOT buy it, it's not even half as good as CF Studio or Homesite.

No, I was talking about the CF Studio. We got the professional version of CF instead of the Enterprize. So we didn't get CF Studio. But now I think WillieT is right, to wait until the merger gets sorted out. Hey thanks guys

Okay Chief, but remember practically anything starting with "Visual" is microsoft. And my experience with MS is (although I'm not a MS-hater) that their webeditors are not the best around. Happy programming!
