Hi Guys
Does VisualC++ have the same graphical programming as VisualBasic. Hence Visual.

Similar - Visual is more like a "I run on windows" label. It cannot generate the code from pretty Visual Modelling (on Visual Studio 6) pictures like Visual Basic.

The GUIs can automatically generate MFC code but they don't automatically generate SDK code. You still need to fill in a lot of the details.

Thanks for your reply xwb, oh well, as they say back to the drawing board.

There are some tools out there that will generate code from diagrams but they cost quite a fair bit. Depends on whether you're a coder or a drawer.

You could try something like Visual Paradigm, Rational Rose or Rhapsody. They all convert UML to C++ (at a cost). Visual Paradigm is free if you don't want the code generation.

Visual C++ certainly does give you some visual design tools. Its not the the same, but it gets you off to a good start.

Click the resources tab and create a new dialog. You can drag and drop controls onto the dialog face. You can use class wizard to associate member variables ad events to the controls.
