Does anyone know of a third party Spell Checker that has an English UK dictionary that can be freely distributed with applications? The best I can find is Foxspell by Hallogen, but it comes with and American English dictionary.

Randall,
One advantage of FoxSpell, is that it uses .DBFs to store the dictionary, so you can always add / change / delete any words you want.

Thanks for your reply Rick. Does this mean that you have used it - if so what is your opinion?

Yes I've used in in a couple different FPW applications a few years back, but I'd assume it's been updated appropriately for VFP. I found it very easy to use, quick and because of the .DBF tables easy to customize the dictionary. (One of the applications was used in a medical office, and they had a lot of "strange" words!) Also, at the time I found that the program's author was good at supplying quick fixes when necessary, and because I believe he had a PhD in linguistics, the underlying algorithm seemed to do a pretty good job.
