Good day,

We have an application developed in Visual FoxPro 3.0 which perfectly runs on Windows 95 in a HP Personal Computer. Days ago, we changed the PC for a Compaq DeskPro EN with 128 Mb of Ram (Pentium III 800) with Windows 95 and the application presents the following Program Error:

Error loading file - ControlSource - record number 62. There is not enough memory to complete this operation.

After trying many things in vain (among which was installing Visual FoxPro and compiling the application and generating the EXE file) , we ended up installing Windows 98 in the Compaq and the application ran with no problem.

Do you have any information about this problem? Could there be some patch for the Compaq or Windows 95 that we need to install?

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.Thank you very much.

It sounds like it had difficulty loading a particular control on a particular form, based on the error message. The only time I've encountered that is with a graphic or OLE control on a form. <grasping at straws>Maybe some video driver incompatibility? </grasping>
