I am consulting with a Company that is developing a Visual dBase 5 program. When made into an executable file it is 678 kBytes in size. In order to run the program most Windows background programs and utilities must be turned off. If memory overhead is not severely limited, the program opens without all of the objects showing. Turning off the memory overhead makes the computer almost useless for other applications. Is there some way to better manage the memory requirements of Visual dBase 5?
