Anyone have a good 1,2,3 step process to makeing an executable file? Can you build an executable using just the form and table? Any good web sites on this subject? Thanks

In VdB 5.7:

select PROGRAM and BUILD EXECUTABLE

In VdB 7.x, dB2K, & dBase Plus:

create a project
add the form to the project
select BUILD Christopher F. Neumann

A form has its own programming already, yes it can be turned into an executable (edit the form as a program, and you'll see the code). If you use the compiler provided by dbase, the compiled program will only run with dbase present (must have dbase installed in machine). To make it a standalone executable, must get/purchase dBASE COMPILER for your version of dbase.
