Visual Basic 6 application to Tx/Rx 8 bit word to com Port

Hi,
I am wondering if any one has any interesting and working VB form that can send and recieve data via the com port.
A simple program that uses a start/stop command. It may save me some time in testing a project that i am working on.(reading informatio of a PIC through the com port.)

Is it safe to assume that you are using the MSComm control?

Yes, using MScom. How do i set up the MScom control code to rx and tx data.
