When installing Windows I get this in a window: "Windows cannot open the required file D:\Sources\Install.wim. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code 0x80070570"
Have restarted 4 times. Where do I get this file? Will it stay in Windows or be rejected?

The message initially suggests the problem may be with the DVD disk or the DVD drive. Make sure the DVD disk is clean and dry and has no scratches of debris attached to it.

The error code can also relate a hard disk drive problem, e.g. bad or unreadable block, etc.

Is this an installation onto a brand new hard drive, or onto a previously partitioned and formatted disk? If the DVD appears to be ok, then check the hard drive with manufacturer's HDD diagnostics.

The INSTALL.WIM file is very large in size, so if other checks reveal nothing untoward, try running a memory check, e.g. MEMTEST86

Thanks, I will check all those.
