Vista Logon problem - only one user account visible

This is propably a real beginner's question, but it's ages since I've had to lay hands on Windows Vista and I need your help. I can't logon as an administrator because the Vista Business welcome screen only shows me one user account. The account given is not the one I want to logon as. I want to logon as an administrator, and I have the credentials.

I also know how to make the traditional logon prompt window to appear again, but I have to logon first to do that. Now I can't. Pressing ctrl+alt+del twice does not work. What to do?

Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately I already knew that. I can't get to command promt for example to do any on those things, because I simply cannot logon. That's the problem.

Safe mode should have administrator visible as a choice.

No luck. The computer boots up into normal mode even if select safe mode or safe mode with networking. Maybe I'll reinstall the whole thing.
