Strange problem with Vista Home Premium. When any of the card games or chess is played, when they first open they are in colour, however when I maximise them they go to black and white. This does not occur however when I play Mahjong or any other installed games.Running Amd Dual core cpu,2Gb ddr2 ram, onboard ?Integrated NVIDIA® GeForce 7025 graphics,on Asrock n68-s Motherboard

Can you play the less colorful games in Safe Mode, or VGA Mode via Safe Mode? It does sound like a Video Card Driver or hardware problem.

Have you tried uninstalling (by unticking) the games in "Turn Windows Features on or off" via Programs and Features. Reboot and retick the games to reinstall them.

Thanks for both replies,it was the graphics card driver, updated it and everything O.K
