Hi, is there anyway to stop a hyperlink from changing color. I have several headings (different colors) that are also hyperlinks that i would like to stay the color i allocate, and not to change to the default visited hyperlink color.

All help greatly appreciated

Thanks
Iain

Iain,

You could set this in page properties. I don't think it is the best way to go, but I do it myself.
If your pages were all the same, you could set the properties on index.htm or whatever page you choose.

You could then use the background info from that page to control the other pages. Of course you would have to set the other pages to this one a t a time.

You could also use CSS to do this I think. I am CSS dumb however, so someone else would have to give you the CSS code.

Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal

To create a style sheet, go to File>New>Page or Web. From the sidebar menu choose Normal Style Sheet. That opens to a blank page with a style toolbar right in the center. Clicking that will take you to dialog boxes where you can alter the hyperlinks.

Thanks for the reply Garridon, i dont seem to have the option in FP2000, am i missing something?

Might be a different location. I have FP 2003 Beta. Check the help menu to see where the stylesheets are located. Some stuff may have been moved around.

If I can remember - FP 2000 does not support CSS.

You can still create a CSS style sheet. You need to first ask yourself: Do you want an external style sheet or do you want the style sheet coding on every page. If you do an external style sheet - you can simple change one value & the entire web will change. This is one of the many values of CSS.
