Hi, The OS of my pc is win2k.I used to access SUN server by hummingbird(exceed). Now I changed my OS to LINUX and need to access SUN server in graphic mode like before. But I don't know how to realize it. Can you give me some advice?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi,
I think it is possible through xhost command. just check the man page of xhost for other details.

Start a second Xserver with a command like:

X :1 -query hostname&

where hostname is the sun machine.

You can then toggle between the X servers on your linux box (acntrl-alt-f7) and your Sun box (cntl-alt-f8)

You may need some other options to get your fonts working correctly. Try X --help.
