I'm using Domino 5.0.2C and notes client 5.0.10. some users get the recieving notification and some not; although the visible notification is selected in the user preferences?!

Please help me as I can't find out Y

Try removing the line that says NewMailSeqNum=... in the notes.ini file. This is just a counter, removing it will reset it.
