Ok, I am currently running two domains off of my linux box. We will say "domain1.com" and "domain2.org". I only have one IP address, but I know this is not a problem. I have looked through almost all of the faqs and docs about setting up virtual domains for sendmail, and none of them have helped. This is what I want to do...

I want to set up sendmail so that a user can have an account on domain2.org on my box (email) but not neccesarily an email account on domain1.com, and vice versa. So if user johndoe has an account on domain2.org (johndoe@domain2.org) I want him to be able to access just his email on my box, and johndoe who has an email account on domain1.com (johndoe@domain1.com) should be able to access just HIS email on my box. I recognize that the two users will have to have different login names, but I'm fairly sure they can have the same email address on my two different domains. How do I do this???? I am running Slackware 7.1
Thanks

first, enter domain1.org and domain2.org in sendmail.cw (local domains). then enter each virtual user into the virtusertable.db database. the key is the incoming email address, and the value would be the location. the value can be an email address or local user's name
