Hi there,

Is there anyone who can help me to setup a virtual server in MS SQL Server 2000 via VB Code? Also, is it in anyway connected to Failover Clusters? Pls help me out.. am in a worse situation....

thanx in advance Praveen Menon

Virtual servers apply only in the context of a server cluster.
You could *probably* set them up using VB, but it would be a matter of modifying/creating registry entries, etc.

What are you trying to do?

Thanks lemosley01,
Infact i was after something which i haven't ever heard of in deploying applications that uses SQL Server as backend. We were looking for somthing, which can protect the structure of the database, by which we can ensure the integrity of the DB, and the data.

Do you have an idea how to create a Virtul Server from VB?

Thanks again,
