Virtual Printer and POS Systems

Has anyone set it up so when ever a transaction is executed it auto printers to a virtual printer and a regular one. Im wondering how hard it would be to set a printer driver to run alongside a normal printer without interfering with operations.

I've seen companies do this where they link transactions with the video feed for loss control but can you do this without needing all the hardware?

Im trying to get this to work on Focus POS. It looks like they have a FLAT flie database which you can't read unless you pay some crazy amount of money. Maybe this solution could work to gather the data they need
