I tried putting a movie clip in a sig i was making but when i uploaded it i was told i had too low of virtual memory...anything I can do to get more or restore the old by maybe deleting some stuff? please help

A movie clip in Photoshop? What version of Photoshop are you using? What page of the manual is showing you how to add video? How do you upload it to Photoshop?

These level of these questions indicates that you may need to crack open the manual. Did you get one with your pirated copy of Photoshop?

jimoblak, I'm with you on RTFM, but don't assume everyone new and lazy is a thief.

You can't really blame jimoblak for his response... after all this is an Adobe Photoshop forum - and you didn't even think to mention it. I must admit i am still not sure what you mean by 'uploaded it'. However, virtual memory is hard disk space pretending to be RAM. Check your preferences for your app and see that you are making as much use of RAM as possible and that your scratch disk is set up correctly. If they are then you could start binning a bit of stuff from your hard disk - or maybe running a disk defrag programme

Memory error messages often appear when you try to load an odd file format (such as an AVI) into a bitmap image editing program that does not edit video. There may be plenty of RAM and drive space.

No one in their right mind would drop so many hundreds of dollars on Photoshop just to make a simple transparent signature for a forum (see the other thread), nor would they have purchased Photoshop with the idea that it edited video. Folks usually have a better idea what their software can do when they actually pay for it and get a manual.

Excuse me if I am misreading the issue here but it has all the telltale signs of some fellow that swiped Photoshop and has no idea what to do with it.

I suspect there may be a codec issue causing the memory error. ImageReady uses QuickTime to handle video. While Quicktime plays basic AVI files, some AVI codecs are not handled by QuickTime. Reencode the video as uncomressed and try importing again.
