Currently to access the website I have to type in the ip address plus the folder:
I would like to only type in
Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a requirement for using a virtual directory?

Couple of things you could do:
- Use the "Local Path" under the Home Directory tab of the web site and point it to the physical location of the folder that contains your site.

or
- Move the site to the root of the web site and just remove the virtual directory.

or
- "Redirect to a URL" under the Home Directory tab.
