Vines passwords constantly changing!

The problem may be that the workstation client doesn't actually manage to change the Vines password. If the user changes his password via the Control Panel/Passwords interface, does the password stick? I run the 8.66(10) version of the client on fifty or so workstations and we've never had the problem you mention. It happens on Win98 workstations, but that's another client app altogether...

It does actually change the password every time.
There isn't a 'Control Panel/Passwords' in NT4, instead a Vines window appears as soon as you've logged in to NT and won't let you continue until the password has been changed.
With around 150 NT pc's running Vines it happens about once a fortnight and is really annoying having to visit each one to re-install.
Any other ideas?
