Viking CPA-7B

IP500v2. r8.1, combo card analog port. Replaced a Viking PA-2A trunk port paging with Viking CPA-7b extension port paging. Analog ext port set up as paging speaker with Bogen WMT-1 transformer. Tried setting as regular phone immediately goes off hook, set as IVR and shows disconnected. Dial paging code, port goes off hook but no audio. Double checked speaker connections, switch back to PA-2A and works fine. I usually use Bogen for station port paging but customer wanted this. Anyone have experience with this Viking model?
