Viking C-250 with IP Office Trunk Port

I'm having an issue with hooking up a door box using a viking c-250 controller and a Viking E-40 door box. I'm trying to use an open CO port on the Avaya. Issue is, when I have everything plugged in, there's a lot of noise coming from the door box. When I hook everything up using my test set instead of the CO port, everything works fine, which leads me to believe that something in the co port is not playing well with the c-250. Has anyone had an issue like this?

A "lot of noise" for the first 5 seconds or so when you connect to the IPO trunk port, or continuously?

ATM V2 ports do an automatic impedance test when they first detect talk battery, and it sounds horrible through the speaker of the door phone when it is happening. But once it is done, everything should be fine.

Lower the A/D gain a notch or so (analog options) at a time until the static goes away. I've had this issue with Viking 1812 controllers. Also, try moving the trunk module to the last slot.
