hi,ive been lookin everywhere on ur forums for an answer but i cannot find one. Here is my problem:

i have an Ultrabrite A90F+ moniter, Asus A9250 video card with omega drivers installed on it

whenever my windows xp loads up. i get a message saying

Viewmeter
Fv
Fh
Status over

i dont know the numbers for fv or fh cuz it reboots too fast. and i cannot do anything on that computer because i cant get past the loading screen of windows xp cuz it reboots right away

does anyone have any ideas?

o yeah i also unplugged my moniter and it still did the same thing, so i dont think it is the moniter.. maybe a hardware problem? a virus?

I'm guessing that the Viewmeter message is your monitor telling you that you're trying to use a display mode that it can't handle - Fv and Fh are probably the vertical and horizontal frequencies that your graphics card is trying to use. Using values that the monitor doesn't support will normally just make the screen go blank, so the re-booting is likely to be a separate problem.

There could be any number of reasons why your PC re-boots. Are you able to start it in safe mode? If "yes", your problem is probably a bad driver; if "no", it's probably some faulty or badly-installed hardware. Check the 'PC hardware - General discussion' forum, it's full of very knowledgeable people.
