On a Definity
is there a way to view who's called after they've called and not left a message on VM or hanged up.
To scroll thru the caller IDs of calls that have come in to the phone.
Checked out "Can a Digital phone log missed calls? faq690-2996 " But it didn't work
On Chs Sta page 2, set the field LWC Log External Calls to "y".
Programed the following buttons (soft-keys): msg-retr and delete-msg

i had several people call from the inside and outside our system.
MWI-light DID NOT lights up when a call was missed.
I press the msg-retr button it displays NO MESSAGES.
I'm using this feature on my 6408D+ and 6416D+ phones, works great.
Some things to check:
Is incoming caller ID showing up on the phones display?
(I know, that's an obvious one).
On the station form you say that you've already turned on LWC Log External Calls. You would also need to have LWC Reception set to anything other than "none" for the message waiting light to turn on.
GOT IT. had to also go into features.
in cha system-parameters feature page 2
set Maximum numbers of external calls logged per station: 10
set Message waiting indicaton for external calls? Y
