I am re constructing a site that was originally built in DW. Templates were used and when I open up the old files to copy them into my new files the page is completely black and the text does not show up unless I view it in the browser. I tried changing page properties etc but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to change the template background so that I can see the text?
Thanks

Go to the template file and cut and paste the text.
Or change the text color in the template file.
Or detach the template and change the text color in the code.

Not exactly positive I understand the problem but will any of these work for you. [2thumbsup]

Yeah those will all work -thanks I've been doing the cut and paste text and the text color thing but I have to guess where the text is to select it etc. because I can see nothing on the page or go through the html code page by page--it just seems bothersome- I wonder why the templates turn everything black like that?
I'm working with huge text files so its a real pain.
Thanks for the reply
