Hi,

Are there any sites that I can use that will enable me to effectively use it as a proxy? That is, I type the url not into my IE url text box but into the actual page and it will go and get the page and display it to me.

Thanks

Chris

Any reason why you want to do that?

I want to access a site as if I weren't using my company web services.

The question is mainly academic.

Just crack root on someones machine and browse away.

Even if you could do what you want, if you're trying to browse undetected from work, it will all show up in your intranet server logs, so your IT people will still see exactly where you visit. Browse from home. Newposter

Anonymizer will do it.

Newposter,

I'm not trying to browse undetected.

Thanks Inikis,

Are there any free ones? (they do not need to encrypt or hide anything)
