I've just opened an earlier version in Access 2003. In the the earlier version I could see the database window but no longer in 2003. How do I get the Database to appear in 2003. Also, I actually have two machines running
Access 2003. One machine opens with the database window and the second one doesn't. I tried the f11 key but that doesn't do anything.

Thanks

Don

Don-
It sounds like the "display database window" box is unchecked under Tools, StartUp. If you hold the shift key down while opening the database, it disables all the startup info. Not sure why it would show on one machine and not the other. I just started using 2003, and have run into several weird problems.

Hope this helps, Carina
